NAEC Stoneleigh is set to welcome The Glamping Show to its 250-acre outdoor space this month after relocating all elements of the event to their outdoor arenas, as it continues to ramp up activity ahead of a full return to business in October.
All indoor exhibitors have been given the option to move outdoors within individual tented structures and all seminar sessions will be hosted online.
More than 1,300 visitors have already registered to attend the show at the Warwickshire venue from September 17 to 19, 2020.
The Glamping Show will be organised and run in accordance with the ‘All Secure Standard’, a best-practice framework for Covid-19 safe events compiled by industry trade associations and approved by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).
Leading the way ahead of the Government’s planned October 1 restart for the events industry, NAEC Stoneleigh’s impressive outdoor space lends itself perfectly to hosting the well-established show for the 6th year.
Chris Hartley, managing director at NAEC Stoneleigh, said: “We’re in a unique position here at NAEC Stoneleigh in that we have large, flexible outdoor spaces at our disposal.
“We are fully committed to assisting as many exhibitors as possible to move outdoors with their events and are delighted to be able to accommodate The Glamping Show once again.
“We have already hosted Drive and Dine Theatre during July, which proved a huge success and, crucially, was a safe and secure environment for everyone who visited the site.
“We have looked carefully at how we operate and can assure both exhibitors and visitors that we have practical and effective COVID-19 secure measures in place.
“We’re delighted The Glamping Show has made this proactive decision to go ahead here at NAEC Stoneleigh and we look forward to welcoming the event and everyone involved.”
Karen Cooke, from The Glamping Show, said: “The Glamping Show is ideally suited to be an outdoor event and the NAEC Stoneleigh is the perfect venue. We have received great support from the industry which is desperately keen to get back to business and we are looking forward to seeing everyone at the show.”
