Europe’s number one historic motorsport show, now in its 18th year, is coming back to NAEC Stoneleigh in Warwickshire.
Race Retro will be returning to the exhibition and conference centre from Friday, February 21 until Sunday, February 23.
The event, which this year has Reis Motorsport Insurance as its new headline sponsor, is expected to attract approximately 25,000 visitors over the three days, and is a must for drivers, engineers, team managers and armchair enthusiasts alike.
Guests can place their bids at the Silverstone Auctions, visit the Trader Village and Autojumble, listen to racing legends on the Reis Live Stage, watch live rally action, demonstrations in kart racing and much more.
Show director Lee Masters said: “The Live Rally Stage on Saturday and Sunday is something you simply won’t be able to see anywhere else. There will be more than 120 rally cars in action with the chance to walk around the parc fermé and meet the drivers, plus there’s even the opportunity to enjoy a ride as a passenger.
“As well as this, we also have the Hall of Fame, showcasing fantastic racing and rallying cars of yesteryear, not to mention 250 specialist traders and the Reis Pride of Paddock competition for race cars that are participating in grassroots motorsport.
“NAEC Stoneleigh is always our first choice for hosting this event. The flexibility of the venue in helping us provide an abundance of live, outdoor rally action, as well as so much inside space, is a key factor.”
Lynn Gardner, account director from NAEC Stoneleigh, which hosts 280 events each year, said: “We are always delighted to welcome back Race Retro.
“We are perfect for this type of automotive event and it’s an area that we are seeing big growth in, with a 32 per cent increase in consumer exhibitions last year.
“Events such as Race Retro, The Great British Land Rover Show, Car Chase Heroes and Gravity Show are choosing us because we are unique in our indoor/outdoor infrastructure with a private road network that can be used as a rally course or for karting sessions.
“Added to this our central location and excellent road and transport links, visitors can get here easily, as is proven in the high numbers that visit this event each year..”
